2. Reasons for non zero display of turbine flowmeter

The main reasons for non zero display of turbine flowmeter are external interference, mechanical vibration, valve leakage or internal faults of the instrument. When the transmission line shielding layer is not effectively grounded or the grounding resistance is too high, external electromagnetic interference (such as electromagnetic fields generated by motors, frequency converters, high-voltage cables, etc.) may invade the input end of the display instrument through signal lines, causing zero drift or abnormal fluctuations in flow display. At this point, it is necessary to check the grounding status between the shielding layer and the display terminal to ensure that the grounding resistance meets the requirements (usually ≤ 4 Ω).
